What is the driving force behind defining the Impellam Project Services offering?

It’s important to clarify—this isn’t a new solution. Our teams have been delivering project-based solutions for decades. During my time at Lorien, I led many custom project solutions for Fortune 100 companies.

With Impellam Project Services, we’re reintroducing our capabilities to the market with a unified brand and delivery model. Having a well-defined approach gives us an opportunity to create a stronger, more consistent customer experience, while delivering on the cost efficiency, transparency, and agility they’ve come to expect.

From a business perspective, launching a dedicated consultancy arm allows us to operate from a position of speed and scale smarter. We can be much nimbler and more flexible in meeting our clients’ changing needs—which is exactly what this market volatility requires.

Let’s talk more about your personal journey here. How did you get into this industry?

Like many of my peers, I didn't initially consider a career in staffing. I started in banking, putting my accounting degree to use for about five years. One night, I met up with a former colleague, and we were joined by a friend who worked at Lorien. Our conversation turned to IT staffing, and he encouraged me to meet with the team. The rest is history.

I started as a telecom recruiter before moving into sales. That hands-on recruiting experience gave me a deep understanding of how to best support our clients in meeting their talent needs.

What makes this role the right fit for you?

I’m energized by change and innovation—I love challenges that require creative problem-solving and finding new ways of thinking. It’s rare to work for an organization of this size that not only embraces innovation but actively encourages it. That’s one of the biggest reasons Impellam Group continues to be a driving force in the staffing and talent solutions industry. What drew me to this role was the opportunity to help lead a new go-to-market approach for our SOW workforce solution—one that builds on the strength of our existing brands and capabilities, but brings a more unified, strategic lens to how we position ourselves in the market. It’s not about starting from scratch; it’s about evolving how we show up to clients and prospects in a way that’s bold, cohesive, and future-focused. That’s the kind of challenge I couldn’t pass up.
